Special Occaisions: Vintage Formal Gowns

Every once in a while we need something a little more formal than the average cocktail dress. Whether it's a red carpet event, a wedding or a graduation ceremony finding a formal gown that looks stunning but doesn't break the bank can be challenge.

Lots of vintage sellers hang onto their formal gowns until the Christmas / New Years holiday season but I always try to have a selection on hand everytime of year.

This 60s bombshell gown in gold lamé has intricate pleating and a unique overskirt, small.

Etsy Artist Feature: Ardent Reverie

Two crazy (but very talented) sisters work like crazy in a tiny room to create the lovely feminine designs for Ardent Reverie. I particularly love the feather hair facinators and handmade jewelry in this shop.
